There are 3 main objectives that a high school student-athlete and his or her family need to begin to work towards beginning their freshman year in high school:
1. Get a good education - The education part, it goes without saying, is a very important aspect of one’s decision. The academic experience will be one that lasts a lifetime.
2. Get it paid for - Whether it is partially funded or fully funded there are many different forms of funding assistance in both academic and athletic areas.
3. Go where you will PLAY! - Hundreds of athletes and families every year make the mistake of overestimating their playing level in college and find themselves unhappy and looking to transfer.
