Chase Taylor

My goal is to play baseball beyond high school and to continue my education. I have a love for the game that runs deep within me , I have family members before me that paved the way for the love of the game . My primary position is catcher , I am also a utility player for baseball and was listed as such on the roster my Freshman year 22-23 and Sophomore 23-24 . I can play all infield positions including pitching. I was also awarded the defensive player of the year 22-23 for baseball , 9/2023 I was awarded week 1 scout player award for football, 4/2024 high school Athlete of the week , 10/2024 player of the week football.

Through my academic and athletic career I’ve been told countless times how much teachers and coaches alike appreciate the effort I put into my work/practice , that I’m valuable as a player not just because of my athletic ability but also my character as a person to be a good teammate and coachable . I hold myself to a higher standard because that’s what my parents have taught me . I think that’s what makes me stand out amongst other great athletes .You can go far with athletic skills , it’s the character , grit and dedication that takes you the furthest in my mind.
