Bio

Hello coaches my name is Ayden Jesus Martinez. I am a sixteen-year-old junior at
Sahuarita High School. I am very passionate about baseball and it is quite literally my
life. Baseball offers valuable life lessons beyond the ballfield such as discipline,
patience, teamwork, developing resilience, and how to handle both success and failure.
Baseball is a game where you will fail more than succeed, learning to bounce back from
setbacks is crucial for success both on and off the field.

When I’m not on the field or in the gym, you can find me with my little brother. He is my
best friend. We do everything together from hunting to wiffle ball. Some of my favorite
hobbies other than baseball are golfing, hunting, and playing basketball with my friends
to name a few. I also enjoy getting my hands dirty whether it’s helping my dad with cars
or doing yard work and building things.

Family, God, and education play a very important role in my life. My parents are my
number one fans; I wouldn’t be where I am right now without them, I give them all of the
thanks. I take my education very serious and have a great relationship with all my
teachers. School comes first because not only will it help me to get in to college and
possibly get a scholarship, it will also help me be successful in the future.
