Bio

Growing up in New Mexico I began horseback riding when I was 4 years old. I spent many hours with my horse Scottie training and travelling with my parents, sister and trainer to horse events. I competed in front of many judges winning belt buckles and world and regional championships in youth events. When I was young, I lived in Italy for a year and of course fell in love with soccer. But after years of soccer, I discovered baseball with first little league and then at age 10 competitive travelling club baseball. During my freshman year of high school, I played JV basketball and varsity baseball. Despite a love for basketball ,I decided my junior year to focus on just baseball and my grades to improve my chances of a college baseball commitment and scholarship. Growing up with my parents who are both surgeons they have shared the importance of studying and grades to succeed in my interests in exercise physiology. As a student at Hope Christian my values and respect for coaches and teammates will help me grow into the baseball player I strive to become. I want to thank God, my coaches and parents for giving me the opportunity to continue my baseball career in college.
