About Mac Phillips


Ever since I was seven years old playing coach pitch, I’ve been hooked on baseball. They needed a catcher, and while no one else wanted to try, I was intrigued by the gear. I suited up, stepped behind the plate, and took command of the field. From that moment on, I’ve felt like a general preparing for battle whether behind the plate or at middle infield. I come from a big, supportive family with parents, step-parents, and grandparents who all share a love for baseball and encourage me in my academic goals. While baseball is my passion, I also enjoy playing basketball, golf, and paddleboarding. Outside of sports, I’m always curious about how things work and have been fascinated by building things since I was a kid. My goal is to pursue aerospace engineering, combining my love for sports with a strong academic focus.
