Every time I step on the field I will give everything I have and I will leave everything I have on the field” – Tim Tebow. Baseball has been a very humbling sport in my life, which it should be, but it has also been very rewarding. Not just because of the success aspect, but what it has pushed me to give day in and day out. Any opportunity given should not be wasted, so every single day I choose to get better in the classroom, on the field, in the weight room, and in my relationships with God and people. I am very grateful to have the opportunity to play a sport that I love, and that opportunity is all credited to my parents. Without them, I wouldn’t be challenged every day to be the best I can be. Outside of baseball, I love being involved in church, serving in our junior high ministry, and being involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at school. If we have the ability to serve and grow, I believe we should take up the opportunity every time; because at the end of the day, it’s about the work you put in and the relationships you build along the journey.
