Bio

Porter is a growth minded player with a unique ability to control emotions and responds accordingly rather than react emotionally.  He is a highly competitive player who exhibits excellent character, integrity, and work ethic, both on and off the field.  He is a high performing hitter who consistently blends contact and power with a disciplined and aggressive plate approach and works the count really well.  He is an athletic SS and can play the middle, corner, and outfield well when needed.  Porter is a determined teammate that encourages others and leads by example.  He displays a consistent strong work ethic in strength and conditioning, on the field, and in the classroom being a National Honor Society student maintaining a 3.85 GPA.
