Bio

MVP of Varsity as a Sophomore
1st Team All League as a Sophomore
CBCA North/South Series MVP
Max Preps Rio Americano Player of the Year

I am a future graduate of Rio Americano High School, Class of 2021. I have been the starting right fielder for our Varsity baseball team since my sophomore year, however I play all outfield positions as well as first base with confidence. I have been hitting in the top of our order for the past two years. I was named 1st-Team-All League for the Capital Athletic League and MaxPreps Rio Americano Player of the Year my Sophomore year, as well as Team Captain my Junior year before our season was cancelled due to COVID-19.
Playing college baseball has always been my dream. I went to my first major league playoff game when I was 3-months old and was hitting balls off a tee since before I could stand. This made me fall in love with the game and I’ve been playing ever since. When I’m not playing baseball, I love skiing with my brother and my dad in Tahoe, hiking with my mom, going to the American River with my friends, and watching Oakland A’s baseball with my family. I was Diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in second grade when I was 7 years old. This threw a monkey wrench in my life for the first 6-months of having it, but it has shown me how to eat healthy and take care of myself consistently. My high school experience has shown me that with hard work and dedication, my dreams of being a college baseball player could become a reality. I hope I can inspire other high school athletes with Type 1 diabetes to pursue their dreams of becoming a college athlete.
