Bio

Hello, I’m Easton Morgan and I’m part of the Class of ’27. Baseball is my ultimate passion, and my goal is to work hard to play beyond college. I am a switch hitter and have been selected as a Perfect Game All American Tourney Hitter as well as received MVP and multiple All Tournament honors. I believe my strengths as a hitter are my zone awareness and ability to aggressively make contact with the ball. I have worked hard to become a balanced defensive player that can play multiple positions. While my primary position is shortstop I can play second, third and any outfield position. On the field, I’m known for my soft hands, footwork and speed, and I’m continuously working to elevate my game to new heights. Academically I am a 3.7 GPA performer and have actually chosen to reclass to the 2027 Class from my original 2028 Class. This is a tremendous challenge as I am working hard to not only keep my GPA at that level but taking a great load of classes to reach my goals to reclassify. I am also working on a course work through dual enrollment at GCU to help strengthen my college academic goals. On a more personal goal I intend to achieve my 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do once landing on campus. As a second degree now, I feel that martial arts only help my baseball skills. My goal in college is to learn AI and study to work within the areas of technology. My family is really important to me and outside of baseball I enjoy spending time with my older sisters, my new niece. I enjoy watching movies as a family and being able to be more adventurous with them as we are a very active family especially when it comes to athletics. My dad and I have a great passion for ping pong and have talked about competing in tournaments which is something I would love to accomplish.
